Hong Foundation Supports the 14th Taipei Biennial 2025 — Fostering Taiwanese Artists’ Practices

The Hong Foundation is honored to announce its participation as one of the supporters of the 14th Taipei Biennial 2025 — “Whispers on the Horizon”, reaffirming its commitment to fostering the creative practices and international presence of Taiwanese artists. This year’s Biennial features Taiwanese artists such as Musquiqui Chihying, Wu Chia-Yun, and Zih-Yan Ciou.

Curated by Sam Bardaouil, Director of Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, and Till Fellrath from Germany, the Biennial brings together 52 artists from 35 cities worldwide. Through diverse artistic vocabularies, the exhibition explores yearning — a deep, enduring emotion that moves between the personal and collective, driving human action.

Whispers on the Horizon unfolds against the backdrop of Taiwan’s history and contemporary realities, tracing the echoes of yearning across time and space. The Hong Foundation deeply resonates with this curatorial vision, which reflects our longstanding belief that art is a language that transcends generations and boundaries—one that continuously sows, nurtures, and inspires new thought and possibility.

Through this support and collaboration, the Hong Foundation continues to strengthen its support for Taiwan’s creators, envisioning contemporary art not merely as an exhibition form but as a lasting influence that transcends time and geography—fostering profound dialogue and resonance with the world.

The Taipei Biennial 2025 “Whispers on the Horizon” will take place from November 1, 2025, to March 29, 2026, at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
