Radiance in Red: Du Horizon Art Foundation Collection

Radiance in Red: Du Horizon Art Foundation Collection This exhibition presents representative works from the Du Horizon Art Foundation, exploring the experimental nature of contemporary art. Beyond preservation, the Foundation seeks to build a clear historical context and act as a bridge between the public and the creative process. The featured works offer profound cultural reflections: Du Jia-Ning’s Marrying Modernism uses the contrast of white pedestals and red velvet to turn traditional rituals into a minimalist metaphor for cultural destiny. Spencer Maddox’s Chair series pairs humble plywood with gold leaf, challenging our perception of value and the illusion of power. Meanwhile, Hsu Yun-Ju’s Jade explores the philosophy of space, using the physical traces of a sculpture to invite viewers to imagine a massive presence within the void. We invite you to experience how these artists record the marks of our era, creating a cultural resonance that connects our past, present, and future. *A sketching competition featuring artist Spencer Maddox’s work, Chair, will be held during the exhibition 3.7~4.11. Please collect the official drawing paper at the reception desk; simply submit your completed artwork back to the desk to enter the selection process.
